Please see below for this week’s crime on from the streets of Beckton Attempted Robbery & Robbery 19/06/2026: Two males approached a victim in County Road, threatened him with a knife, and demanded his bicycle. Fortunately, the victim was able to cycle away safely.19/06/2026: Officers witnessed a robbery in progress near Savage Gardens. Following a short pursuit, three males were detained and arrested. A knife was recovered at the scene.Burglary 18/06/2026: A Go-Kart was stolen from a garage in Collier Close.Theft from Vehicles 19/06/2026 (ASDA Car Park): A suspect stole a wallet from a car after pretending to offer assistance to the driver. Please remain vigilant when approached by strangers.22/06/2026 (Royal Quay Road): Number plates were stolen from a vehicle parked inside a private parking garage.Theft of Vehicles 21/06/2026: A Mercedes was stolen from Edmund Hurst Drive.22/06/2026 (Attempted): A delivery driver returned to his motorbike in Mahindra Way to find three youths demanding his keys. Two brave members of the public intervened, causing the suspects to flee.Theft from a Person 24/06/2026 (ASDA Cash Machine): A male suspect distracted a lady at a cash point and successfully withdrew money from her account. Please always shield your PIN and be aware of your surroundings. In Other News Suspicious Behaviour: An elderly man wearing an eyepatch was witnessed attempting to open a car door handle in Harold Mugford Terrace.
